Super Blood Wolf Full Moon Ski
Come on up to the Ironton Ski Trails this Sunday, Jan. 20th, to enjoy the Full Moon (the much-hyped Super Blood Moon) while enjoying a little Nordic skiing. If you’d like to ski with a group, meet at the Ironton trail head at 6pm. Hot drinks, snacks and warm fire will be provided by OCNC.

What does it mean…
Super: The moon is at its closest distance to the Earth. It looks 14% larger and 30% brighter.
Blood:A full lunar eclipse will reach totality at 10:12 PM MST making the Moon appear red.
Wolf: A full moon in January is called a Wolf moon because wolves mate in January and they howl more than usual :).
