The saga continues. We finally got the sled back this morning. I left at 8:30 this morning, drove 2 hours each way. I waited an hour and a half while they tested it to make sure it was good to go. I went straight up to Ironton to at least drop it off and get some of the snow rolled. It worked for about 10 minutes then it would just die. The issue before was that it wouldn’t start but it ran fine. Now the issue is that it starts but doesn’t run. I called the service guy and was told to bring it back. They’ll look at it. I told him I was just a volunteer for a non profit and perhaps there could be some remuneration for my time and gas in the form of a donation to our organization. He had to talk to the owner first. I told him I was a little MIFFED. We’ll see how that goes. Flash news. He just called and was conciliatory. Yay! Still, each trip there is 8 hours of driving because you have to drop it off and go back. Hell, in the 16 hours of driving for this I could have gone to Lawrence KS to see my daughter or gone to Vegas and back. The good news?…….I saw the bighorn sheep on the way down. Have a nice day!
